Miks has officially launched the Valorant Protocol as the game’s 30th agent; this brings a much-needed hybrid role to the Controller class. Hailing from Croatia, this sonic-powered Radiant is definitely designed for players who prioritize enabling their team. Unlike traditional smokers like Brimstone or Omen, Miks breaks the mold. By being the only Controller in the game capable of healing his allies, making him a versatile pick for just about any team composition you could think of.

His signature ability, Waveform (E), allows for instant smoke deployment via a map-targeting interface, which is perfect for fast-paced site executes. Unlike Brimstone’s smokes, there is zero travel time involved, though they do last a slightly shorter 16 seconds than other smokes. These smokes are hollow, this meaning your team can stand inside with full visibility while blocking the enemy's line of sight. A trick that can really catch defenders off-guard during aggressive pushes, if you time it right.

To really get good with Miks, you have to use the Harmonize (Q) stim well, and that means using it with the people who go in first, like Jett or Raze. The buff restarts each time either one of you gets a kill, which means it can really build up a lead when you are trying to take a site.

The M-Pulse (C) device, though, it is a real game changer. It can heal through walls, so Miks can heal his team without even being in danger. This makes him super strong on maps where there are tight spots like Ascent and Haven. Because of this, his support capabilities are nearly unparalleled.

His ultimate, Bassquake (X), needs 8 points and it works kind of like Breach’s ultimate but it’s more focused in where it hits. It is the ultimate thing to use when taking back a site, it can knock defenders away from the spike or mess up when they are trying to push together.
