HADES 2: RELEASE DATE CONFIRMED FOR PS5 AND XBOX

The waiting is nearly done for what many consider one of the best action RPGs set to land on consoles. Supergiant Games has made the official announcement, and Hades 2 will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on April 14, 2026. Following a good amount of time as an exclusive on a couple of other platforms, console gamers can finally get their hands on the fast-paced combat and the way the story is told that really made this follow-up such a standout title. And better still for Xbox gamers, the game is going to be available on Game Pass right on launch day.

This time around, the story focuses on Melinoë, Zagreus’s sister, as she battles through the Underworld. Although it manages to keep the original game’s feel, Hades 2 adds some fresh magic abilities and a completely new set of characters drawn from Greek mythology. It was a top pick for quite a few gamers last year, and now it is arriving on new platforms, therefore  a whole new set of players can get into the action. Whether someone loved the first game or is coming in without any prior knowledge, there is tons of content here to check out.
